One-stop shopping, Frozen Al -- although Breitbart and our usual foreign sources are useful, too. The alternative is to read every local rag from front to back each day in the hope of catching the news as it happens. We do have the advantage that Rantburgers submit articles from their local papers when something happens locally, but even Rantburgers are not everywhere. ;-) Also, if another venal idiot arises to blackmail bloggers for quoting their owned articles, using foreign sources affords Fred some protection.
