#1 Two to three kilometers from the target the bomb's onboard computer commands the thermal homing head to acquire the designated target.

So you counter it with a sheet of reflective mylar cut into odd shapes?

#2 The much smaller cousin of the earth-shattering KAB-000M model.

#3 sounds like a copy of the JDAM and the L-JDAM. Should be interesting to compare the two systems. Bet there are a lot of very busy technical intel guys at the pentagon right now.

GLONASS?

#7 GLONASS-K is the upgraded Russian GPS. It was in a pretty dilapidated state until 2011 when the constellation was completed. (2010 would have been the date but a rocket blew up putting GPS satellites in orbit)

GLONASS-K doesn't have full world wide coverage like the US, but all of Russia, EU and the Middle East are covered. It is definitely good enough to drop bombs fairly accurately with.

#8 Looks to me like the LGE model is just the metric version - same weight, warhead, length and explosive.

Ya get more bang for the buck if you can count 'em twice.
