#2 True. The Taliban and their Pak minders pulled off both an internal morale-building and external propaganda operation, and re-arranged the chairs for any possible negotiations.

#3 On the other hand, some number over ~~100~~ 80 of them are dead, and on the other side of town ISIS is getting uppity. One of these is a bad thing.
