#1 Bachmann's photo obviously parodied the character Alfons Hatler portrayed by actor Christoph Maria Herbst in the WiXXer comedy movie series.

Thus he did indeed indirectly mock Hitler himself, which is a somewhat islamophobic act as Hitler is quite popular with some Muslims.

"Animals" and "scumbags" isn't nice either. The politically correct terms would have included "locusts" ("Heuschrecken"), beasts ("Ihr Juden seid Bestien!"), cowardly pigs, "Jude Jude feiges Schwein!") and of course the islamic combination "apes and pigs."

For reference:
Mainstream center leftists in Germany routinely call unpopular investors "locusts." This generates no outrage.

"Ihr Juden seid Bestien!"="You jews are beasts!" and
"Jude Jude feiges Schwein!"="Jew jew cowardly pig!" were slogans that were written on placards or chanted during anti-Israel demonstrations by Muslims. There was very little outrage.
