#2 ISIS demanding $ 6.6m for release of hostage.

UPI - An unidentified American female aid worker was taken captive by Islamic State militants a year ago. IS is now demanding a $6.6 million ransom and the freedom of jailed Pakistani neuroscientist Aafia Siddiqui as conditions for her release.

Hopefully some alarm bells will be going off, and not for the $6.6m demand. Underlined emphasis is mine.

#5 I do not know if this woman is a true humanitarian or a political activist like Rachel Corrie (St. Pancake). But anyone with a bit of common sense would give Syria a wide berth at this time.
