For perspective, Squinty, An Nahar gets a lot of their articles from the Agence France Presse (if I spelt that right, it's early here and French may never be one of my languages). So things have that editorial board's perspective, rather than AP's or Reuter's. As for the rest of your comment, I couldn't possible say.
