#1 And this is the reason the I was against the way the Iraq War was fought.

When dealing with barbarians the only way is the shampoo method. Wash, rinse, reapeat as necessary.

Don't waste blood and treasure on trying to civilize them.

One alternative is the Japan method. Squash them totally, throw out all institutions and start from scratch.

I prefer the former.
