#1 The IHH was founded during the war in the Balkans, and was involved in shipments of arms to Bosnia-Herzegovina. It was closely allied at the time to the Intl. Muslim Brotherhood, as was Erdogan. It is possible that the arms were being shipped to the anti-Assad Salafist types who have now congregated on the Syria-Turkey border from the coast inland. It is known that the Turkish military is very unhappy with that circumstance and it may have forced the "security forces" to move to seize the arms.
