#1 I have always explained Communists as robber baron capitalist. Robber baron capitalist own everything, including the country store where they set prices just high enough to keep the workers in debt.

Naxalites (CPI) make their money by extorting money from the mining companies (e.g Essar and Tata) and other businesses. They blow up schools and keep the uneducated people uneducated and poor.

Mobsters by any other name would smell so foul.
