#1 IIRC, this an old Artic that came out on the MSM-Net about the same time that China was repor attempting to make new strategic rapprochement wid SOKOR in bypass + slight to the North.

IMO the above means or infers that Beijing considers NOKOR its sovereign territory in all but name = official change.

Beijing is getting that much closer to TAIWAN, i.e. "Mahanist" China's "Pearl Harbor/Hawaii" into the deep Pacific towards CENTPAC, EASTPAC, + WESTERN AMERICAS.

IMO the US quietly recognizes China's ambitions...
