#4 Hamas has had anti aircraft missiles since mid 2010.

IDF assets have been taking this into account in their maneuvering, targeting, etc. Big surprise is that Hamas has not used those missiles before.

#6 Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has developed some of the most advanced airborne defensive systems in the world. We've got the AN/ALQ Countermeasures Set of systems. I'm not overly concerned.

#7 Besoeker - I worked on (the computer cards for) some AN/ALQ systems 40 years ago, but don't think I ever knew what the letters stood for.

#8 Northrop Grumman is the 'big dog' in the flares and MWS (missile warning measures) business. My facts are dated, but those individual flares used to cost about $125. each. Pretty costly when you see entire cans dumped in a photo demo.
