#1 this one may be doubtful - some juicy tidbit that was leaked to the media in a bar - but who knows? i checked with one source, who heard it was S. African mercenaries who assisted in finding Gadhafi. Maybe the "Final Hunt for Gadhafi" will be one of those campfire yarns with a million different variations :-)

#3 The news at the time was pretty clear about aircraft (I think French Air Force) attacking Qaddafi's escaping convoy & stopping it on the road, which was the immediate precursor to his capture. Interesting that Qaddafi's killer was wounded much later, sent to France & died there.

#6 Our government never told us anything but lies about the NATO intervention in Libya so it's easy to believe just about anything in the way of an explanation. Maybe true, maybe not. But it certainly sounds like something that would be within the realm of possibility.

How do I know the government told lies? Well, they said they were doing it to protect civilians but they never told us how many civilians the NATO war planes killed to protect civilians. They prolonged a nasty little civil war, in which they had no business, that looked like it was gonna be all over with in a few days thereby greatly increasing the number of people who were killed.

One question this article raises but does not answer is why Col. Daffy would threaten to expose his contribution to Sarkozy's election. Was Sarkozy putting some kind of pressure on Daffy? If so, what and why? And why would Obama and Cameron go along with Daffy's murder? The whole thing reeks like a crock of shit.

Then, when the war was over, the Obama administration sent an unprotected diplomatic mission into Libya. Did it not occur to them that some of those people who were under the NATO bombs might still be around and still possess the wherewithal to extract revenge? No? So a few more civilians got killed.

Sorry, folks. I'm gonna post this picture again because the duplicity and treachery is so amazing. I mean, one day they appear to be having a nice little bromance and the next day one of them is having the other whacked.
