#1 It seems as though a vast majority of the Egyptian public supports the military crackdown. These agitators are mainly supported by outside money and radical Islamists parties.
The majority of sane Egyptians want these agitators removed and want life to settle back to normal without extreme Islam taking control. The military clamping down is the firewall of last resort.
