#2 Hizbullah has a particular gripe against Mummar because back in the late 70s, Mummar invited a high level Shiite (Musa al Sadr) to visit Libya and then executed the guy.

OTOH SAUDI ARABIA > As EL HEFE' = BIG ENCHILADA GOVT-ARMY OF THE GCC appears to still be withholding its formal recognition of the anti-Gaddafi Libyuhn Rebs for a later date.

IMO read, THE KSA IS WATCHIN' + OBSERVIN' THE SITUATION.
