#1 Good luck. Success here will mean a larger Al Qaeda and Taliban presence in Afghanistan This will make it look like we are losing big time there. May give our president the excuse he needs to tuck tail and run.

#2 The nice thing about this is the Army of the Pure have put themselves in a position where they cannot simply declare a redefined victory and walk away, ceding the the Waziristans to the Taliban and their little friends, since they'd done that before with so little success.
