#2 According to today's NY Post - Monserrate is holding out for the highest bidder. He is an ex cop who is accused of cutting up his girlfriend in a little domestic ~~terrorism~~ violence situation. He needs money, status, position, influence and publicity. Hey, there is another guy like that in DC.
