#1 Chrysler has idled its factories and says it is losing 100 million dollars daily.

100 million per day is a scary number. But how does that compare to their losses when they are up and running?

It's strictly an imaginary loss.
True some loss will occur while factory warranty repairs are done th the vehicles already sold, but it's tiny.Mostly the loss is ficticious.
