In addition, Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition just closed in Milwaukee and is moving on to the Twin Cities. Google Titanic: The Artifact exhibition and see whether it's coming near you anytime soon.

I took the kids to see the exhibit, and then took some international students to see it. For me, the most moving artifacts were a torn waiter's jacket, white, for a very small man, with the name "A. Broome" written inside the collar in ink; also a set of au gratin dishes lying neatly in the sand, unbroken, after the wooden cabinet that contained them rotted away.
