#4 Maybe somebody told 'em they could end up getting nuked if they don't get a handle on the situation.

But the question remains, Is the "real" Pak army gonna fight? Wouldn't be surprised if it takes them a few days to redeploy from the Indian border. Gosh, does anybody think India would take advantage?

#5 Likely as not this will be a photo op event with troops and tanks going in, blowing some stuff up, making a few arrests and then declaring victory and leaving.
