#1 It was my understanding that the Stingers didn't have a good shelf life and unless properly stored and cared for, would be useless.

You are correct, batteries and electrical components degrade over time. Unless we have been supplying the Pakis with stingers, most of their missles would be 20+ years old.

A bigger issue would be Russian and Chinese missles supplied to the Iranians.

#6 The lifespan of the batteries/coolant systems of the model of Stinger supplied to the Mujis in the 80s was 10 years - if they have not gotten full replacements for the same, the Stingers will NOT track a heat source.
