Because nobody in this neighborhood needs an honest job and the politicians don't need any tax revenue.

#3 Liberals crave social experimentation on people who cannot resist, for the obvious reasons. This is why the military has had a century of abusive treatment in the name of social experiments.

Now they have figured out that they can abuse the poor as well, because they are less able to resist.

Parks Calls for Boycott of New Yorker Magazine Depicting Senator Barack Obama as Muslim Extremist and Wife, Michelle, as Gun-Toting Militant 8th District Representative to Introduce Resolution Supporting Boycott Tomorrow

Councilmember Bernard C. Parks is calling for a boycott of the latest issue of the magazine, "The New Yorker", as it hits the newstands today (7/14) with a controversial illustration of Illinois Senator Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle on the cover.

"The publication's decision to illustrate Senator Barack Obama in a turban and Mrs. Michelle Obama armed with an assault rifle and wearing military fatigues and combat boots is absolutely appalling," Councilmember Parks says. "And by placing a picture of Osama bin Laden and a burning flag in the background of the illustration, 'The New Yorker' took a major step from appalling to inexcusably disgusting. The illustration takes me back to a time in this country that none of us should be proud of. Today, I call for people across the nation to boycott this issue of 'The New Yorker'."

Parks will introduce a resolution requesting his colleagues on the City Council to support the boycott at Tuesday's Council meeting.

The Unions make it impossible to have Mom and Pop grocery stores, the people obviously don't want to go to the trouble of cooking their own meals, and the fast food places don't force them to eat there anyway. I guess the answer is, "We're gonna force ya to eat healthy if it kills ya". Government Control. It's what's for Dinner.

#10 Damn, Bernard Parks, the failed Chief of Police who now sups at the City Council trough. Bernie, you know damn well why no decent restaurants are in South LA. No one decent goes there. Your cops didn't go there when you were in charge. So many gang punks who can't shoot straight that anyone's life is in danger there. Why doesn't the council go after the lawlessness that prevails there ? Besides, take a side trip to Tijuana Bernie. Think you'll see fat Mexicans ? Sure will. They love lard. They love anything fattening. So any of them on welfare blow up fast. Only the illegals who can't suck Uncle Sugar's tit stay slim. They have to work every day. So they tolerate the slop truck diet, but they do get diabetes by the ton. And, how do you retain your seat ? Most of your constituents have moved to Palmdale and turned that into a gang infested mess.
