#1 It's far past time we taught the savages in the NWFP a lesson in military firepower. We need to pick out an area somewhere in the territory, and turn it into a moonscape. Then we need to tell the entire world we'll do the same to anyone fighting against us, no matter where they're located. Then we need to have steel balls, because we're going to have to prove it at least three times before the thick heads of islamists get the message. That includes the governments of a half-dozen so-called "allies", beginning with Pakistan.

You cannot fight a war being a nice guy. You've got to be meaner, nastier, and more vicious than your opponent, or you'll end up in second place. There is no prize for second place in war.
