#1 No doubt they'll do better than many of the NATO contingents, required as those are to do nothing about anything, and that only from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

#2 Indeed. Just being able to shoot at the bad guys would be a big improvement. Even if it was only from 9 to 5.
