Indian policemen cry during the funeral of four killed colleagues in Srinagar March 23, 2008. Four policemen and a militant were killed on Sunday after a gun battle in Kashmir's main city, police said.

#3 The killed deceased police officers were identified as constable Bashir Ahmed No: 2678/S, Constable Irshad Ahmed No: 580/IRP 10th battalion, Constable Mohammed Kabir No: 840/IRP 10th Bn and Constable Sham Singh of para-military, CRPF.

The slain militant commander has been identified as Abu Faisal of Pakistan
