Problem with that option is somalis ending up in droves in immigration-open western countries, to become demanding US cab drivers, violent Youths (RB had an article a while back about somalis juves gangs in the Lakes area IIRC), or the gangrapists of scandinavian blondes.

Otherwise, I don't think the world ignores somalia, I mean, the USA have been backing discretly but effectively Aethopia, and are probably still doing so in an extent, works fine with me.

#15 Can we move the UN HQ there? I'd consider that to be stopping ignoring Somalia. Imagine how much better it will be from the aura of august individuals as those to be found in the UN.
