#3 I suspect that with all of those AQ and Anti-US Iraqi's that there a lot of widows/singles that are easy targets for this type of thing. Especially if there is not a decent support system from the clans/tribes. Promise to take care of the kids & you've got a candidate for an explosive belt.

I plead ignorance on the matter but I'm a suspicious soul. Anyone with more insight?

#5 Does this imply that the vests have an arming device/process to preclude preplanned detonation by some lovely who freaks out in the armory? Must be a remote which would then allow the 'good guys' to jam them or predetonate them on signal saturation.
