#1 If it was a class like math I might suspect the student was failing and made up the story to escape without an F, but a psychology class.... not so likely.

#3 The whole thing sounds like it could have been engineered by CAIR. I'm not saying it was but (a) It fits their narrative so well (b) Its happening during the political campaign season (c) most teachers are so far to the left I find the comments unbelievable. If the teacher was misquoted as saying a Presidential candidate might think that or play on that and they were taken out of context perhaps.

Muslims seem to be so easily offended it is hard to take them seriously as a religion.

My math teaching daughter was taken to task for using an old standby when describing the fact that a true answer can be reached via a variety of methods. Seems Little Johnie is an animal hugger and didn't take kindly to being told that "there is more than one way to skin a cat."
