Kashmiri women grieve near their destroyed house after a gunbattle between a suspected militant and Indian soldiers in Ajas, some 54 kms north east of Srinagar, the summer capital of Indian Kashmir, 15 January 2008. Abu Kital alias, Hamza, a commander of Lashkar-e-Toiba was killed during a four hour long gunbattle with Indian soldiers this morning and the house in which he was hiding also got damaged in the gunbattle, police said.

#6 Some of my favorite memories are of "Army Day" at Ft. Campbell Kentucky, Dad was a Major (Army) then, and I remember getting to "Jump" (Tower like paratrooper training) and shooting a .30 machine gun (Tripod mount, blanks I'm sure) what a thrill, I thought of this when seeing the above picture of the kid next to the tripod mount gun, that kid could be me. (A bit older, but not much)
