Soviets were responding to looming Afghan TERROR THREATS TO USSR + REGION, + argues that the Sov-AFgh Commies did a lot of good for the locals. *IOW, SSSHHHH OSAMA + AQ [and by extens THAT GUY FROM GUAM], etc. FOUGHT FOR THE WRONG SIDE - SHOULD'VE FOUGHT FOR MOSCOW/COMMUNISM INSTEAD???
