#1 In Indian Islam it is common to venerate the tombs of dead muslim 'saints'. Even Hindus and Christians will come to come to offer prayers at the graves, asking the saint to intercede for them.

The Deobandis and Wahabis hate this. Given the chance, they would demolish the shrines.
