#2 The AMT mess was created by the donks. It primarily screws taxpayers from donk states. I'd say the donks are going to have a hard time getting the trunks to increase the taxes on their constituents so the donks can provide relief to their own. Please pass the popcorn.

#4 Ummm, could we freeze all the senators salaries that are causing this stumbling block? Or better yet, just consficate their cash (Include bank and stock accounts) and earmark it for military ops.

No...the Democrats aren't suggesting raising taxes...certainly not. It's simply an offset in the reduction of revenue by closure of tax loop-holes. (Besides it's all the money in the off-shore accounts of wealthy tax evaders.)
