#1 If you really think about this story, there's quite a lot here that's very scary. For all the whining about civil liberties and privacy and governmental power and bias and individual rights, you rarely see a set facts like these which baldly disregard all those concerns.

And that's only go on the facts as reported, leaving everything else to the imagination.
