#3 I must have seen an abridged version of this statement cause what I saw had no mention of getting UN approval for this; also did he mention getting buy in from our allies in NATO and the mid-east?

#4 yet at the same time he has unilaterally removed nukes as an option. while i do not like the idea of a nuclear exchange, taking your options off the table is not the sign of a strong player.
