300! In a big city like that? They should be embarassed. Maybe they're worried if too many gather together the government might send in a 'suicide bomber' (1000 pounds, dropped from an aircraft?)

#3 I'm sure the crowd was wondering about a bombing, that may be part of the reason for the small turnout. It would be trivial for the government to set off a couple of Claymore mines near the ~~terrorist recruiting party~~ "prayer session."
