#1 And those useless fools at Amnesty International have the gall to claim that the United States violates its citizens' rights.

#4 Similar story in the book, The Aquariums of Pyongyang: Ten Years in the North Korean Gulag. Pretty damned scary.

#5 When a teacher found a girl had hidden wheat grains in her pocket, he beat her on the head with a stick. She died the next day.

All of this tracks straight back to Kim Jong-il. North Korea's cannibalism and mass starvation are his personal responsibility. He needs to be taken alive, tried for crimes against humanity and hanged until dead. Few modern autocrats have had such a direct hand in causing the suffering of so many. North Korea's continuing existence is a blot on the free world's conscience.

or a sharp bayonet to his neck. His crimes remain whether it takes a court to find them/judge/sentence or a bullet to end them. I'm jaded by the Slobo precedent. Where's Charles Taylor? Just end it

#7 I read Aquariums and learned that there were harsher camps than Yodok for "hardened criminals." North Korea and Haiti both belong in the continent of Africa.

After a show trial like the farces for Saddam and Milosovic? No thanks. Stop taking prisoners. Or at least preserving any evidence that you have.

#9 I willingly admit that Mislosovic's trial was a farce. My only intention in having Kim put on public trial is to further humiliate the gang of dictators that contaminate our world. If the only way of deposing Kim is with a silenced bullet, so be it. Far more important that he is removed now than breathe for another moment.
