Jesus Jihad, convicted of murdering a man in Alameda in 1973.

In addition, Jesus Jihad was convicted of rape and forcible oral copulation for a 1993 attack in Berkeley.

More like a prison convert: Man held in wife's stabbing death
Authorities confirmed that before changing his name from Crisp to Jihad, he was convicted of a June 1973 murder in Alameda of a 21-year-old sailor from Chicago who was stationed aboard the USS Enterprise. The sailor was shot dead by Crisp after resisting the demands of Crisp and some accomplices for $2, authorities confirmed. In December 1973 Crisp was sentenced to a life term after being convicted and was paroled in January 1987.

In 1994 he was convicted of forcible rape and oral copulation for a 1993 Berkeley attack. He was sentenced to 17 years in prison and ordered to register as a sex offender and was released within 10 years.

Mustafaa pushed for Halaal food and/or substitutes for the days when pork was served.
