#2 this is a most confusing report

this section was particular odd

"...An Iraqi officer with the army division responsible for the Baghdad area said the Americans gave them a list of people to be arrested in Sadr City. Iraqi soldiers led the raid while the Americans played a supportive role, but nobody was arrested."

#4 Things would be a lot easier if we actually were an empire trying to take over the region like the America-haters claim. If we were, instead of going after Shiite hit squad leaders we'd use them to help put down the Sunni insurgency and only after that happened would we handle the Shiites. But since we are trying to build up an independent Iraq that treats all its people well, we have our hands full trying to make all sides behave so we can leave.
