#2 Because the EUropeans will never let that person face a death penalty trial in the US. No chance in hell of Spain extraditing him. At some later date he will likely be part of a dhimi operation and traded for a Spaniard who gets kidnapped due to an act of their own stupidity. That is how it works right?

And if the Bush points the finger at Iraq again, al-Douri gives the word to mail some more of that neato-o keen trillion CFU/g anthrax. This is why Saddam will be on perpetual trial. He's willing to negotiate, you see.
