#3 No, BaR! He probably realizes how little will get done through the U.N. Amazing that illegal refugees in the U.S. see what the U.N. even refuses to call a Genocide! Of course, that would result in having to do something about it, and stop the trips to exotic locales to partake of fine dining and free sex!

#5 if the world yawns, it is because Africa is such a mess. Hard working people send money in the form of donations and tax dollars, but all the food and money sent only seems to wind up in the hands of bad guys who use the aid to feed their "armies" to give them enough strength to commit the genocide against civilians.

The UN was created to help them, but all that money only seems to end up in Kofi and Chirac's pocket and still the world media yawns.

Our modern media only focuses on anti-Bush and anti-Western issues ...like the horrors of Guantanamo or excess fat in McDonalds hamburgers.

We care and we donate - but the press isn't interested in real human rights issues, or real genocide, or real starvation, or real abuse against women. If it can't be used to blame the Bush administration or the west or the Christian right - it isn't newsworthy.

The human-rights groups aren't, because they can't raise funds by exploiting the situation.

The Left aren't because they can't use it as a political weapon.

Same with the 'race-mongers' - besides they're the wrong sort of 'blacks'.

The Muslims aren't interested 'cause there's no infidels involved, and the 'right sort' of muslims are.

The media aren't 'cause there's no decent hotels, there's no U.S. lackey-government involved, and they already covered this sort of thing in Somalia.

Nope. It is because the left isn't interested when there aren't Jews to blame and the right doesn't demonstrate.

But I think it is a golden opportunity: Arabs killing Blacks, Arabs killing Black muslims and stealing their lands while whining about teh poooooooor Palestinians. We could and should exploit this to drive a wedge between Blacks and Muslims and between non-Arab Muslims and Arabs.

And for a couple years I have been using Darfur and South Soudan as a standard tactic against the left: it goes like this: "Why is that you are caring for the Palestinians when in Soudan there
is a genocide and about two hundred victimes for every Palestinian one?" I end up telling him he is a racist and an alter-nazi: one who is to coward to display his colors.
