#5 Hamas was just elected. That makes them mainstream for that population. After all, the Nazis could've been considered mainstream in their time, too.

#6 Rich! Hamas gets a toehold in government only to discover the downside to bureaucracy and its endless niggling little details like votes of no confidence and dissolution of ruling bodies. I hope Fatah manages to sidestep these maggots with some sort of fancy-pants legal manuevering. Hamas deserves to be shown up for the violent country bumpkins they are. Of course, all of this could result in a bloodbath of monumental proportions but, hey, that's what popcorn is for!
