#1 Reverend I have no such qualms. I was brain washed to turn the other cheek from a young child to my teen years. I was never taught that there were those out to get me and yes even kill me for just being alive. Hunt these bastards down and make them eat their own appendeges before they are opened from crotch to neck and left to die. Let the wild pigs and dogs have their carcases.

#2 "I tell people: Do not retaliate; only God can do that," said Rev. Stephen Dayoh

God is not willing to do everything, so is not to rob us of that share of glory which is rightfully ours.

#3 Things like this cannot be forgiven and forgotten. This Christian / Muslim thing is going to end one way, with a winner and a loser. I don't see any other way to work with subhumans like this. Grown men beheading teenage girls? Give me a break! Like it or not, this is going to end in a global fight with the loser being subjugated.

#4 Christian forgiveness is not the same as submitting to evil (dhimmitude). It means to let go of the hate and anger and desire for revenge inside of yourself and to pray for your enemies to come from the dark into the light.

Getting revenge for past sins is totally different than protecting yourself from evil. Turning the other cheek is a good idea for slights and insults. He didn't say, bow down and let them slay you.

#5 Turning the other cheek is what YOU do when someone slaps YOU. Slapping the bastard around is what YOU do when he slaps someone ELSE on the cheek.

Besides, it's kinda hard to turn the other cheek when your head is no longer connected to the neck that turns it...

#7 Well said, Ptah. That, and Christ's interaction with soldiers (NOTE: He never accused them of killing or even suggest they "quit their day job," just that they trust in Him) shows that He was no 100% pacifist, like LLL wants you to believe. But, who are we to judge (I can hear the lefty religionists screaming "Judge not, lest you be judged" already).

#8 Cutting off girls heads.
Think about it.

This is a conflict we cant dare lose. The world cannot be left in the hands of these savages.
