#1 They've captured stupid foreigners for ransom for millenia in the that part of the world. It's a cultural thingy -- so I don't know why the sillies are fussing when they could be thinking of it as part of a Lonely Planet experience. What stories they'll have to tell their friends, should they ever be allowed to return home!
