#2 Ahmadinejad is either suffering from a serious mental illness, or I'm missing the fine nuances of his political strategy.

#3 Let's send a cruise missile his way. If he rises from the dead and smites us all, I'll take blame.

#5 This is guy is a nightmare waiting to happen. However, even if everything goes to shit and things went nuclear, Iran, or even the entire middle east for that matter, could never prevail over the United States in a conflict of that magnitude.

#6 After all, this is the same man who recently pledged to use Iran's newfound powers to "wipe Israel off the map" and to "destroy America."

Our military needs to make sure that this sort of aggressive language carries a pricetag with it. These wingnuts need to come home to a smoking hole in the ground or have their cars "spontaneously disassemble" themselves while they sit in the driveway.

However, even if everything goes to shit and things went nuclear, Iran, or even the entire middle east for that matter, could never prevail over the United States in a conflict of that magnitude.

Guess again, bgrebel9. If Iran remains outside of the IAEA's operational guidelines, no samples will ever be taken to help identify isotopes derived from their processing facilities. Under those circumstances, should Iran deliver a nuclear device into terrorist hands for detonation in America, we would not have any specific way of assuredly identifying Tehran as the donor.

A single atomic terrorist attack in America could nigh well topple our economy. A severe stasis lasting a few years would be an optimistic outcome. More than one atomic terrorist attack could easily crash our nation's entire economic structure.

We are no longer confronted with the laughable spectacle of camel-riding yahoos denouncing America in colorful language. What now awaits us are self-deluded theocratic lunatics like Ahmadinejad who are willing to immolate their entire country for the sake of realizing theistic goals. This is no joke and we should be happy to enforce strict penalties for loons like Ahmadinejad when they blather on about their terrorist objectives.

I continue to support Mrs. Davis' idea of putting all proliferating or rogue nations (i.e., Iran, North Korea, Lybia, Syria) on notice that a single nuclear terrorist attack on America will result in the annihilation of their individual countries.
