#2 Wouldn't hold up as a defense in a Fed case. I doubt the Fed's are going to go after people at this level. However, like the broken headlight or failure to signal ploy used even by Oregon cops, it will be the pretext for various agencies to stick their noses and fingers into someone's business. And it will remain so, till there is a choice other than the Moonbat Party when it comes to real national defense.

The relationship between drug culture and the hard left is obvious to anyone who has ever witnessed a Moonbat rally.

I am serious. Address the root cause of lefty anger, repeal drug prohibition. This would end the resentment whose tranference fuels the rank and file lefty's reflexive support for leftist causes. With any luck, they would be too stoned to push their appeasement/incitement line in the future anyway.

How do I condemn Russ as a "doper apologist" while still agreeing with him about legalization?
It's simple: Dopers are scum. I don't use dope, I despise those who do.
It is not up to me, however, to protect these creatures from their own foolish impulses.
This is especially so when we have turned a whole continent into a war zone and put a million people in prison to offer this alleged protection. What thanks do we get? The dopers resist it to the point of violence and express their anger by supporting the enemies of civilization.

Susceptibility to drug abuse is a weakness that would normally be eliminated by natural processes. Their own impulses should be allowed to destroy them. It is a necessary step in human evolution and we are holding it back.

I have a better idea: shot people who use drugs. It is of no use to fight traffic. The more you intercept, the more the prices rise so the greatest the incentive for producers/smugglers. The key is in reducing the consumption.

An alternative is desintoxication. And I am persuaded that once people are forced to confront reality instead of day dreaming while on drugs they will no longer buy the leftist Kool-Aid.

#8 You miss an opportunity when you criminalize marijuana. The opportunity to pacify the prisons. Encourage prisoners to smoke a lot of marijuana, up until the last six months of their sentence, then off to a "drying out" facility, where they are given a thorough re-introduction into society. It's even better than putting them in a coma, in that they can still take care of themselves, and just spend most of their time sleeping.
