Skills that can now be purchased cheaply for dollars, but could later possibly only be purchased at the expense of the lives of our sons and daughters." Then he could offer the testimony of "many" who had fought in war before, to attest that what he had just said was true. Finally, he should turn the question around, and ask: "What is more important, a few dollars now, or the lives of our soldiers later?"
