#1 Blunkett stressed that he would ideally like the case to be dealt with quickly.

A suggestion: Put Capt. Hook in a LearJet with a reduced fuel load (not enough to reach U.S. airspace) and keep him in a walled off section so that he can't see forward. When the plane is over the Atlantic, the pilots and other personnel bail out and the jet is allowed to plunge into the ocean.

Problem dealt with quickly, and no "execution". (as far as executions, U.S. style, are concerned)

#3 the other "ed" has it right. Put him in the most advantageous Federal Prison, and let the "locals" handle the situation. There are probably 9/11 survivors amongst them. It could be instructive.

Do they put a handless man in the general prison population?

#4 I don't know... the muslim brotherhood has a pretty strong recruitment in our prisons and he might be protected...

I think bomb-a-rama is on to something... probably will end up costing less than the price of the trial and will save us from having to see his ugly face everyday in the news during the trial.
