God, I hope Westerners are really reading articles like this one very, very, carefully. Muslims living in Western countries keep telling us: We are a country within your country. Your laws do not apply to us - Because we are muslims first and above all, we will live by muslims laws not yours. Their message is very clear and direct.

Khilafa probably realizes that if Islam permits apostates to live, the whole Islamic house of cards will crumble. Ironically, the medival Islamic scientists that Islamic apologists of today like to cite were mostly sceptics and some were outright deniers.

#4 The reason the US executes people for treason is the same reason it executes people for murder. Treason is a crime against the life and security of the people. To equate apostasy to treason requires equating apostasy to a mortal threat to the people who believe in Islam. But apostasy is not a threat to life, it is a threat only to belief. A set of beliefs of itself cannot kill anyone.

#6 The Religion of Peace even resorts to terrorism and threats to keep its membership numbers up. I can't really see killing an ex-Moslem in any other light.
