#1 Over the last year..
The United Nations estimates that 10,000 people have died in the conflict and one million have fled their homes in Darfur. More than 100,000 people have crossed into Chad, but militia raids have targeted refugees across the border.

Yet we hear precious little from our esteemed news souces, so busy they are focusing on every "atrocity" committed by Allied forces. That, and of course, Michael Jackson and Laci Peterson (is there anyone, anywhere who actually cares about those two, other than the out-of touch group-thinking board weenies of the TV newsrooms? And I don't think they care either, they just mistakenly believe their unwashed masses do.)

These people rape, pillage, starve and murder millions - yet we hear nothing but the birds chirping and the wind blowing from our national media. Occasionally, a dry article like this one, makes it to page A21...but the front page will be all about the shameful behavior of Gen Kimmett's troops. Mind you - I think that's front page news, since we find even "hazing" type mistreatment to be completely shameful in our civilized society - but -

hack the breasts of pregnant women before you rape 10,000 of them or set up concentration camps in NK and hear the wind blow.
