#1 Why?

$10 million buys a Bird and another $80 million buys a down payment on his own battlion. That's power you can't get in the private sector.

#2 Stephen's about to meet about 1000 cousins he never knew he had.

#3 Shipman, like in the old days? Moore's Marauders? Hire a bunch of Gurkhas, and offer to take over patrolling Tikrit.

#4 Sure, with the Gurkhas I'll bet he could get a decent return on his investment.

#5 ex-Marine roommate's comment:
The Army will probably ask him to buy out his contract. For $50-$150k, he pays the Army back for everything its given him (like training) and gets a general discharge.

#7 Better that he win it than some sorry leech who cries about needing welfare to survive, then turns around and cashes his government check for cigarettes and lottery tickets.

#8 I don't like the lottery, but at least this jackpot went to a responsible person.

#9 I like the lottery! It's a voluntary tax, and I'm more than willing to let other people pay it!

Hopefully he won't take $300,000 to a strip club and get robbed like that dolt in WV, though.

#10 You don't know HOW many times I had this dream in the service! Alas I will have to live it through Sgt Moore. Yes I would have served out my tour, but what a tour it would have been!
