#1 Not even Kim Dae-jung was stupid enough to take force completely off the table. The North Koreans aren't limiting their options, so why the hell should we? If Roh has any further "requests" to make, he should be doing it during private negotiations with officials, not the public media. All he's doing is setting himself up for embarassment, which in turn will be magically transformed into anti-Americanism here. Who in God's great name is advising this man? Certainly, my phone hasn't been ringing.

Coincidentaly, with Glen Reynolds going to Baghdad, I just wanted to let people know that in the event of regime change in North Korea, I'd be more than willing to serve as proconsul to Pyongyang. Heck, I'd save you the airfare and just take the bus.
